November 1, 2022 Dutch Design Week Recap At Dutch Design Week (DDW) 2022, StoneCycling showcased how a fresh approach leads to surprising and high-quality new building materials with a positive impact on our planet. And we had a lot of visitors interested in our innovative products and collaborations! Get Set. Over nine days, we spoke to thousands of people ranging from the general public curious about creative, planet-conscious initiatives to students, architects and designers looking for new materials and solutions for their next project. We got lots of compliments – and often the question why our products aren’t the standard in construction yet! We strongly believe that waste, raw materials and carbon emissions can be used better to transform architecture and the construction industry. Showcasing our solutions to the growing global waste pile, the scarcity of raw materials and the huge carbon footprint of the built environment at events such as Dutch Design Week is an important part of our road map to a better world. But changing the way we use building materials is a huge task. We hope that by showing the viability of our products and the results of innovation, we pave the way for major players in the global market to follow our example and increase our impact exponentially. The theme for DDW22 was: Get Set. To make changes together, we must get set in the right mindset, get set by making smart collaborations and also get the setting right, so we can work together on the missions and challenges we all have. We would like to thank everyone who visited us and helps us spreading the word on our mission. And of course we would like to thank our partners: Dutch Design Week, Biomason, Fassat, Drystack, Studio Mixtura, Secrid, Ape to Zebra and most of all Patrick Schuur from FORM designlab for hosting us and being a fantastic help during the week.
