August 20, 2021 Knack Weekend - New StoneCycling Project Feature For a new project in the city of Ghent, Belgium, FRONT (formerly StoneCycling) will be working with the city council to make Design Museum Gent a source of inspiration for circularity, sustainability, and innovation. In this online feature, Knack Weekend announces that the new building of the museum will have a circular facing brick, partly produced with waste. These are, of course, our WasteBasedBricks! The new complex must demonstrate how innovative techniques can reduce the ecological footprint of a new building. The ambition is for the museum to have a pale facing brick with an original texture and in which a proportion of waste material, preferably from Ghent residents, has been processed as raw material.
