MMousse Future House is a creative outdoor location that cares about a sustainable future, located in the forests of Ulvenhout, in the province of Noord-Brabant in The Netherlands.
Surrounded by nature, this place lets you get away from the daily hustle and bustle and get ideas flowing.
The innovative design of the building and its meeting rooms shows the best of sustainability with a keen eye for design.
From the bricks made of recycled waste (of course our beautiful WasteBasedBricks®) to the vintage furniture; every detail has been carefully considered so that they inspire you when working on your own future ideas.
MMousse
The future house was designed and built by Erica Bol, a future researcher with a progressive look and an entrepreneurial spirit. After years of research and brainstorming, her sustainable dream became reality. Her future-oriented choices reflect everywhere in the exterior and interior of the building, as well as in the food that is being served.
The adjacent forest is always open for a short break or a guided meditation walk and with good weather, there are also meeting options in the garden, which is designed according to the age-old Chinese feng shui philosophy and has a power circle.
Erica cycled around the neighbourhood to see which materials would blend in best with the environment and a conscious decision was made to use as few basic materials as possible.
MMousse Future House truly combines sustainability in all its forms: reuse, recycling, ecologically, circularly and locally.
FRONT® is proud to have been a partner in this project, upcycling over 10210 kilograms of waste into a beautiful brick facade!
This was a one-off product made specifically for this project. With our Custom Made Service, it's possible to develop your own bespoke brick or brick slip.
