Sustainable Development

Situated near the A10 ring road in Central Amsterdam, in a designated “residential acceleration area” to meet the growing housing demand, RingPark is easily accessible, making it ideal for businesses of all sizes.

Rembrandt Park included the renovation of 28,000 m² of office space and gained 2,500 m² of additional surface area through the two floors built on top of the ten existing floors.

Architectural firm HofmanDujardin has given the building a new transparent appearance with an open ground floor. The park-view pavilion, made entirely of glass, contains a restaurant and a large terrace on the water that is freely accessible.

The offices are crafted to fulfil the needs of contemporary work, focusing on environmental quality, sustainability, smart building technology, and modern, flexible work methods. The design seamlessly integrates the outdoors with the indoors, incorporating thoughtful greening and light-filled floors to create an office environment that supports the business community’s daily needs and enhances the quality of working life.

The redevelopment of Rembrandt Park is the beginning of a larger development aimed at creating an attractive mix of work and recreational opportunities at this beautiful location in Amsterdam-West.

Rembrandt Park Campus

The Rembrandt Park campus is unique: located in the city, yet outside of it. The centrally located offices have a spectacular view over the park. These Amsterdam offices are spread across three distinctive buildings, creating a campus-like atmosphere.

The original iconic building of Rembrandt Park One was built in 1967 by the renowned Dutch architect, Frederik Willem de Vlaming. It was cutting-edge design then and now it’s cutting-edge once again. Inspired, shaped and formed by the unique natural parkland setting, the new Rembrandt Park welcomes and connects like-minded people. The building is designed to stimulate, motivate and encourage new ways of experiencing business and leisure.

The lower floor’s communal interior spaces and public restaurant are harmonious with the building’s original character. The floors have been completely stripped for a more sustainable renovation featuring FRONT® custom-made Almond Sliced WasteBasedSlips. The warm and soft hues match the travertine façade and add a more delicate layer.

The strong material palette enhances the inviting and public atmosphere of the space.

Rembrandt Park Two is highly visible from the A10 ring road. The ground floor features floor-to-ceiling glass walls, making it ideal for a showroom or experience centre. Additionally, there is an event space with a gallery.

Rembrandt Park Three is an ultra-modern, transparent office building with eleven floors, offering spectacular views of Rembrandt Park.

BREEAM Excellent

This high-quality renovation received a BREEAM Excellent certification. To achieve this level of sustainability, the existing building has been redeveloped, including a new façade that fully meets insulation requirements, a thermal energy storage installation, low-temperature heating, climate ceilings, and PV panels on the roof.

The building also offers many great options that contribute to the ESG targets employers are facing. The BREEAM label, energy efficiency, daylight, clean air, amenities, green surroundings, and hybrid working options are all part of a healthy work environment for employees.
